You know those questions that you ask your girlfriends but don’t ever buy their answers because you think: well, we’re girls, we think differently from guys… well – you aren’t alone. So we at NEEM Magazine pooled some reader questions together and submitted them to a South Asian American boy to help you find some form of an answer!
Are his Ex-es a Threat?
Maybe. There’s no easy answer to that question. Most guys will talk to an ex once in a while, or not at all, simply because they are no longer a part of our lives. But if
one of them is always around and the break up was “mutual” – there is always the chance it be problem. So if you’re worried, talk it out.
Is it Necessary to “Keep Up the Mystery”?
Not unless you want to drive us up the wall. It’s fun to learn about a person as you grow together, but if you constantly try to confuse us in the name of mystery, we may just run. When the guy is right for you, he wants to KNOW you – no game playing. So stick to the tried and true rule of being yourself.
How do I Compete with Football and the X Box?
You don’t. You and our mindless gaming/competitiveness are completely separate things in our minds. Guys compartmentalize. Just because we religiously play football with our friends on Sundays doesn’t mean you aren’t important. So understand that it’s a part of who we are and try to embrace it. Hey – we aren’t asking you to cheer-lead, just plan around our once a week need to compete with other men in an open and obvious way.
